The idea (if you hadn't already seen in my Facebook when talking to Howell's sister) was to have a cathedral at night, surrounded by cyberpunk elements (maybe a large video screen or two, or cell towers, with a surrounding cityscape) drawn in the style of Akira or Ghost in the Shell.

The thing is, though, I get so little traffic on my server (usually 25-30 MB daily across all sites) that it's really not worth the time or effort to implement. It's a nice idea, but seeing as my site's hardly popular or well-read, it seems kind of pointless to go to the trouble. Howell's agreed to look at the original header to see if he can adapt it to the new theme. We'll see how it goes. :-)

What's your idea for the new header? I'm notoriously unreliable about this kind of stuff but things haven't been crazy lately so I could probably give you a hand if you needed it.

I had briefly considered linking my site to my Facebook, but to be perfectly honest I'm happy leaving the Facebook stuff on Facebook. I'm just making the Twitter feed available because it's kind of an "over-arching" feed that's also posting in my Facebook as well.

I had even briefly considered using LoudTwitter, but that just annoys me.

I should have something up in the next week or so. Nothing spectacular, but we'll see how it goes.

I've been wanting to start my blog up again for a very long time... just never seem to get around to it. But I had an idea which may or may not be retarded that I think I'm going to try. You may or may not have noticed (by way of my 18 billion posts to it each day) but I'm hopelessly addicted to Facebook. What I may try is syndicating Facebook Notes and Facebook Links on my site, with my design up front. I could even use Facebook Connect to let FB users comment (or Like, or whatever) on articles directly from my site, and it'd all be reflected on my facebook page. I dunno if I'll actually do this yet, but it seems like it'd be a pretty cool approach that would require very little effort. We'll see.
